Hi everyone,
We got the Bump in the Center of the field finished today. The people who attended were Alric, Chinmay, Haochuan, John, and Karena. Special thanks to Karena’s Mom for helping us out. She made sure none of us did anything dangerous and helped some of us measure properly (it’s harder than it looks :]). Attached below is the finished bump with John and Alric next to it. After an afternoon and night of hard work, we finally completed this game field piece. This bump is over 13 inches high, and with the slopes over 45 degrees; it will be more challenging to drive a robot over it than you may think. We will take a closer look at it and the challenges associated with it in the design meetings.
