Last week on the 1st and the 2nd, we attended the JavaOne Conference to demonstrate our robot along with a couple of other teams. It was from 10am to 8am, and considering how the students had the end-of-the-year finals, gathering members were hard. But we still managed to send a couple of our veteran members(including Stephen, an alumni) and in fact, gathered the most attention! Aside from letting members drive the robot, we catched a lot of attention by letting the by-standers drive it as well. Many people were interested enough to even ask how to give donations to us! We hope to keep this up and be invited to future conferences as well.
