Thanks to Jim Beck, the FRC Regional Director who coordinated a Robotics demo with Lynbook High’s Funky Monkeys and the MIT Alumni Association at Google. The Robotics team went to the Google headquarters on August 28 and performed a short demonstration of their robot’s abilities for the MIT group. Afterwards, the Robotics team introduced the alumni to FIRST Robotics by demonstrating the robot and talking about the various First Robotics Programs. The event was a success, getting many of the alumni hyped up about volunteering and helping out with FRC, FLL, and FTC.
