After sweeping the regional’s—winning first and second place—Lynbrook mentored Oak Grove High School went on to have an outstanding performance at the Global Competition in Washington DC. Lynbrook’s Alric Siu, Chinmay Jaju, Karena Cai, and Lucy Mou accompanied the three Oak Grove teams as mentors. Highlights of the trip include exploring downtown DC and watching the Fourth of July fireworks from the Washington Memorial. None of those experiences matched winning 4th place in double elimination and 5th place overall out of the 60 teams worldwide. On top of that, we received two judge’s choice awards for having the fastest robot and the best helper robot. Congratulations Eaglebots!
