After the Oak Grove High School Botball team the Eaglebots dominated their regional competition in March, they are moving on to compete in the Global Championships at the end of June. For the next several weeks, Oak Grove will be working very hard, not only to build their robots, but also to raise the $25,000 they’ll need to make their trip possible. The Funky Monkeys have mentored the Eaglebot’s team for the last three years, and this year, Lynbrook’s Alric Siu, Chinmay Jaju, Karena Cai, and Lucy Mou are traveling to Washington DC to help the Eaglebots in their competition. The Eaglebot’s hard work has paid off, and their inspiring story has been featured in many different newspapers as well as on TV. Some clippings include–
