CalGames 2010 Kickoff Meeting
Dear Team, Parents, and Mentors of the Lynbrook Robotics Team, and Lynbrook Staff,
Lynbrook High School and our Robotics Team, FIRST Team 846, has been selected to host the 2010 CalGames Robotics Competition! The competition is scheduled for October 23-24, 2010.
The Kickoff Meeting for the 2010 CalGames will be held
10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Saturday June 19th, 2010
Room 608 at Lynbrook.
We are asking for adults, especially parents of Active Members of the robotics team, to help us host the CalGames Competition. Lynbrook High School and Team 846, as the host for the 2010 CalGames Robotics Competition, need to provide a strong presence at this meeting so that we understand our obligations, both to manage the arrival of 36 teams, and to provide food services for approximately 1500 people.
Please contact me by phone or e-mail to help us host this event and to attend the kickoff meeting. It will be advantageous for you to discuss our needs as the host team prior to the kickoff meeting. I look forward to hearing from you!

Annual End-of-the-Year Banquet
Hi everyone,
We are planning on having our annual team banquet at BJ’s Restaurant on Saturday, May 22, from 5:00 PM to around 9:00 PM. The tentative cost for the banquet is $40. Participants will have to provide their own transports to the restaurant. This a great end-of-the-year event, and we will be inaugurating the 2010-2011 officer team there.
