SCRIPs and eScrip

Note: the SCRIP/eScrip program is no longer in effect as of August 2009.

SCRIPs

SCRIPs are coupons which you can use for everyday purchases at many stores in our local area.

Here is how SCRIPs work:

  1. You order SCRIPs to be used at a store(s) of your choosing from the Lynbrook Robotics Program’s (LRP) SCRIPs manager.  You pay their full face value to LRP’s SCRIPs manager.
  2. LRP’s SCRIPs manager purchases SCRIPs for you at the posted discount rate. LRP receives the discount.
  3. At the store listed on your SCRIP, you pay for your purchases using the SCRIP as a coupon.

Discounts range from 2% to 20% depending on the store.  These rates are generally higher than other programs, such as credit card rebates (which may be limited) as well as eScrip

eScrip

eScrip provides Lynbrook Robotics Program (LRP) a percentage of your credit card purchases.  No coupons or eScrip identification are required when you make purchases at participating stores. Whenever you use a credit card registered with eScrip at a participating store, a percentage of the sale is automatically sent to LRP.
How to sign up for eScrip:

  1. Go to www.eScrip.com.
  2. Click on Sign Up – It’s Free.
  3. After eScrip.com has found our group, click on our group name.
    After you click on our name, choose to move onto the next step.
  4. Scroll to the bottom until you find Group Selection.
  5. Fill in the mandatory information and continue the process.
  6. eScrip will then ask for your grocery club card number (i.e. Safeway
    Club Card), your credit card information, and your ATM card
    information.

How to add Lynbrook Robotics as a beneficiary:

  1. Go to www.eScrip.com.
  2. Log in with your account information.
  3. Go to account administration.
  4. Scroll to the bottom until you find Group Selection.
  5. Search for our group by either our group name: Lynbrook Robotic Team
    or our group ID: 153435232.
  6. Click our group name to add it to your list of beneficiaries.
