Lynbrook Robotics
About Team 846

Founded in 2002, the Funky Monkeys, Team 846, is a robotics team out of Lynbrook High School in San Jose, California. The team competes in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) where students work with adult mentors to build a new robot for regional competitions every year. We encourage our students to work collaboratively in order to build a highly competitive robot.
Over the course of our team’s history, the team has grown from a small group of members, building robots out of a garage, to a multifaceted group of over a 100 students. We continue to grow our program today, establishing initiatives to help promote robotics
education.
Our Mission
“To build competitive robots and teach students the science behind the machine.”
